I've got a question. I got a recipe from Pinterest that had this photo and link to your website, but the recipe on Pinterest is totally different! The recipe there is for Brown Sugar Chicken and containts brown sugar, vinegar, sprite, garlic, soy and pepper. Is that a past recipe of yours, or did the Pinterest person do something funny with your photo?

Made this for my husband and I this evening, and it was really good. Thanks for posting the recipe :)

I made this dish this evening and it was SO salty. I'm thinking that your sauce would make a good marinade for grilled chicken though. I found this recipe link on Pinterest but now that I am looking at it, the recipe on Pinterest is different to the one on this blog (uses soda and vinegar in the other recipe). I find that very confusing.

new to crockpots. Do you put the chicken thighs in frozen?

I'm not sure why this is called sesame chicken, other than it has sesame seeds in it. It tastes good, but nothing at all like sesame chicken, nor does mine look anything like your picture. I followed the recipe exactly. I was a little leery since a couple comments were deleted, so maybe I'm not the only one who was disappointed by this.

I'm putting this in the crockpot now! Looks delicious- thank you so much for the recipe. :)
For Pinterest folks, what you saw was not the recipe; it was someone's comment. NEVER go by the comment (which can be total junk, sadly), ALWAYS click the image and go to the original post before cooking/baking anything you find there.

I made this for my family and we LOVED it. Do you have any info on the nutritional information? It was so good, but I like to make sure I am feeding my family healthy homemade foods. I guess I could try it with less sugar, but wow! it is good just the way it is. Thanks!

Decided to put 2 1/2 table spoons of corn starch in it and it was PERFECT!

Oooh, thanks for the idea to add corn starch. It smells divine, but the liquid could be thicker.

This recipe is not very good. My man eats everything, and he did not like this at all. I ended up making a frozen pizza for supper. Disappointing

I felt the same

I tried making the vinegar sprite one, don't it is awful tastes like vinegar chicken! This recipe with the brown sugar, soy sauce, ginger, etc. Is very good. That vinegar one must be someone's cruel joke.

I am so trying this tonight just one question when i put the chicken in the crock pot is any water involved at all? or u just put it in there pour the mix and let it go?seems to me it would not be enough liquid and it would start to burn after all that time.

I made this tonight. It tastes good but like many others I really wish the sauce was thicker and it is a bit on the salty side. So next time I'll use reduced sodium soy sauce and stir in some corn starch like other suggested. I would give this 3 1/2 out of 5 stars.

Thanks for the recipe! I shared it on my FB page and added your link. I can't wait to try this!

I made this today with chicken breasts (what we had in the fridge) and threw in some broccoli right before it was done. The sauce was a little thin since I didn't have any corn starch, but otherwise it was delicious! I'll definitely be making this again.
